The traditional Japanese technique of creating Kumiko panels is described in this class. The Kumiko Class is approximately 1.5 hrs. long. This information packed class is livestreamed directly from the Pirollo Design furniture making studio by furniture designer + maker Norman Pirollo. A panel with the popular asa-no-ha pattern or motif is created with components fitted. Questions are answered live during the class. Recorded session available afterwards.

Learn from an expert in fine woodworking. Norman Pirollo has been woodworking for over 20 years, his work extensively published in magazines and books. He has also launched four woodworking businesses. Norman is the author of the From Hi-Tech to Lo-Tech: A Woodworker's Journey book, chronicling his exciting journey into woodworking. Most recently, Norman has written the Woodworking: From Design To Making book.
