After exceptional feedback from a wood show I recently participated in, I decided to offer four classes live from my studio. The initial virtual classes were delivered March 27,28. There is considerable setup involved to successfully accomplish this which explains the two back to back dates. Afterward, I will be offering virtual classes on a monthly basis in the last weekend of the month. The intervening weeks allow me to continue with my furniture making.
I am passionate about each of the topics in the classes so am never at a loss for words when presenting. The virtual classes enable me to share my years of expertise and accumulated knowledge with attendees. Many people, including myself, learn faster and have the subject reinforced more when the lecture is live. It is a more effective method of learning to hear a lecturers voice rather than simply reading material about a subject.
The live classes are reasonably priced so I can get as much information out to people while making it affordable. So depending on your own knowledge of each subject, you can either gain much or little information from a class. I tell myself that even if the attendee receives one or two valuable nuggets of information, this will help them understand the topic better and enlighten them to pursue it further.
Topics for the upcoming classes are as follows:
The classes are each 1.5 hours long, providing ample time for me to successfully convey the topic. Questions are welcome in the class to address any dilemmas you have with the subject. If you have time and are keen on learning about the topics I will be presenting, you are welcome to register for a class. If you miss the class, recording of class and chat is available to view later. Link available by selecting image above or through the Live Classes tab on the main menu.
